Christine Karlsson has a background in medical sciences with a PhD in stem cell biology and two decades of experience in academia and higher education. With a passion for developing researcher talent and fostering research communities through capacity building, she designs initiatives at Lund University that strengthen academic cultures and promote cultural change. These initiatives align professional identity, personal growth, and institutional values in a human-centered way.

As an ICF-certified coach and Mental Health First Aid instructor, Christine supports early-career researchers and academic leaders by providing training and coaching in self-leadership, academic well-being, and workplace relationships. Her holistic approach to coaching focuses on professional identity and personal growth.

Christine attended Melissa’s workshop several years ago, and their shared approaches and values led them to collaborate on delivering self-leadership trainings.
